New Elements Environmental Company

ABOUT US

Established in 2021, Environmental New Elements (ENE) is a private Jordanian company engaged in the exploration, development, mining operations, trading and supply chain management, research and development, recycling and resource efficiency, as well as strategic stockpiling of critical minerals and Rare Earth Elements (REE) in Jordan.

ENE owns and operates its site on a 2,400 km2 concession area in the central part of the Dubaydib Sand Formation in Wadi Al-Mezrab, 350 km south of Amman, and 100 km from east to northeast of Aqaba.

Our project aims to secure a substantial market share of Jordanian strategic metals globally, while positioning Jordan as a regional powerhouse for geological and economic development, particularly in the field of green energy transition.

Our Story

On January 12, 2022, Environmental New Elements (ENE) and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore rare earth elements (REE) in the south of Jordan.

ENE took over the exploration work where the MEMR left off at Dubaydib Formation site, originally initiated in April 2017.

MEMR’s geological and exploratory geochemical investigation primarily focused on nuclear and rare earth elements to determine the concentrations of important elements and their respective percentages. Consequently, the study results revealed high mineralization of Rare Earth Elements, Trace Elements, and Radioactive elements.

In addition to exploring the 17 rare earth elements, Environmental New Elements is also actively exploring several critical minerals, conducting borehole drilling for sample analysis as a precursor to the subsequent mining phase.

Our mission is to responsibly produce REEs and critical elements in an environmentally sustainable manner, ensuring a consistent and reliable supply of these scarce minerals while prioritizing environmental protection and green practices.
